How Close Are You To Getting Your First Cut?
Former NSAI Workshop Director Gracie Hollombe and I just completed our
workbook: "Your First Cut -- A Step by Step Guide to Getting There". It's a
fun, goal-oriented pro-active, exercise-laden workbook designed to help you,
the songwriter, in achieving that elusive goal of getting your first major label
recording of a song you wrote.
It not only contains a point system survey to see where you are towards that
goal, scores of activities to get you closer to it and thought provoking ideas,
but also many personal examples with quotes and interviews from professional
writers from all musical genres about their experiences with their first cut.
It's a must-have handbook for any songwriter, pro or hope-to-be-soon.
For more information about our workbook or to order it ($20 US, $32 Can) log
onto www.yourfirstcut.com
or through the NSAI bookstore at

Check out the "Appearances and

See you on the charts!
